PSALM 141:2 Angels and Incense

Psalm 141:2  NCV
May my prayer be like incense before you,
the lifting up of my hands like the evening sacrifice.

Exodus 30:1 NIV
Make an altar of acacia wood for burning incense.

Revelation 5:8 NIV
The four living creatures and the twenty-four elders
fell down before the Lamb.  Each one had a harp
and they were holding golden bowls full of incense,
which are the prayers of the saints.

Luke 1:8-13
8 Once when Zecharia's division was on duty
   and he was serving as a priest before God,
9 he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the 
   peisthood, to go into the temple of the Lord
   and burn incense.
10 And when the time for the burning of incense came,
   all the assembled worshipers were praying outside.
11 Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him,
   standing at the right side of the altar of incense.
12 When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was
   gripped with fear.

   Zechariah; your prayer has been answered.

Revelation 8:3-4 NIV
3 Another angel, who had a golden censer ,
   came and stood at the altar.
   He was given much incense to offer,
   with the prayers of the saints,
   on the golden altar before the throne.
4 The smoke of the incense,
    together with the prayers of the saints,
    went up before God from the angel's hand.

Exodus 30:7-8 NIV
7 Aaron must burn fragrant incense on the altar
   every morning when he tends the lamps.
8 He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight
   so that incense will burn regularly before the LORD
   for generations to come.

Psalm 63:4 NIV
I will praise you as long as I live,
and I will lift up my hands.
