PSALM 101 A PLEDGE

Psalm 101:1  NRSV
I will sing of  loyalty and of justice;
to you , O LORD, I will sing.

All in authority need personal integrity.
Verse 1 is a pledge of integrity and justice
which we can make for our own areas
of responsibility.

We who practice mercy, kindness, truth
and justice in our own lives, as a parent,
or in our own workplace,
do so as representatives of God
and as members of the body of Christ.
